City Manager
Mike DaRoza serves as the City’s Chief Administrator and is appointed by the City Commission. He has been with the City of Alachua since 2017. His previous work experience includes serving as an executive for 18 years, with extensive private-sector experience in business, manufacturing, operations, logistics, construction and project management.
Lynn Hayes
Executive Assistant to the City Manager
Lynn Hayes is the Executive Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Alachua. Sharing more than 12 years of administrative experience with prior City Managers, Hayes is responsible for managing the schedules and communications of key executives in the City.
Rodolfo Valladares
Assistant City Manager
Rodolfo Valladares, P.E. is the Assistant City Manager (ACM) for the City of Alachua. His responsibilities include planning, organizing and managing the activities of the City under the policy guidance and direction of the City Manager.
Jeanene Carrillo
Executive Assistant to the Assistant City Manager
Jeanene Carrillo is the Executive Assistant to the Assistant City Manager for the City of Alachua. She serves as the first point of contact for citizens requiring the engagement of the Assistant City Manager’s office. She supports the executive team by performing administrative duties and participates directly in the work of the department. She is known for her friendly, helpful and positive personality.
Kyler Burk
Public Information Officer
Kyler Burk is the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the City of Alachua. His role is to effectively disseminate and facilitate information among all internal and external City stakeholders.
David Wisener
Economic Development Manager
David Wisener is the Economic Development Manager for the City of Alachua. He is responsible for the City’s business attraction, retention and expansion efforts in order to promote job opportunities and overall quality of life for the community. He is also very involved with implementing the City's Strategic Plan, and he assists the City Manager as part of the Executive team.
