Michael Carrillo

Public Services Director

Michael Carrillo, P.E. is the Public Services Director for the City of Alachua. His responsibilities include managing the City public utilities that support and enhance the lives of City residents, businesses and visitors.

Public Services Staff Assistant

Ashley Spencer is the Public Services Staff Assistant for the City of Alachua. She serves as the first point of contact for citizens requiring the engagement of Public Services. She supports the department staff by performing administrative duties, and she participates directly in the work of the department.

Engineering Supervisor

Tom Ridgik, P.E is the Engineering Supervisor for the City of Alachua and is responsible to deliver sustainable solutions benefiting societal, environmental, and economic outcomes with the development of infrastructure. He provides quality projects by deploying best practices that improve project delivery efficiency.

Eiman Abbas is an Engineer for the City of Alachua and is responsible for preparing engineering specifications, data sheets, drawings, and calculation in support of engineering activities.

Mark Avery is an Engineering Technician for the City of Alachua, and he supports the Engineering Department by reviewing capital projects for the City. He works directly with Engineering Staff to solve problems and shape the next innovative solutions.

Josiah Serravalle is an Engineering Technician for the City of Alachua, and he supports the Engineering Department by reviewing capital projects that are planned for the City. He works directly with Engineering Staff to solve problem and shape the next innovative solutions.

Public Services Project Manager

Ted Williams is the Public Services Project Manager for the City of Alachua. He guides and manages the Capital Improvement Project’s with established project delivery processes to ensure the safe, orderly, efficient, and timely completion of the project scope in accordance with requirements specified in the contract documents.

Public Services Project Manager

Linnelle Stewart is a Public Services Project Manager for the City of Alachua. She guides and manages City Projects with the established project delivery processes to ensure the safe, orderly and timely completion of the project goals.

Warehouse Manager

Michelle Lightsey is the Warehouse Manager for the City of Alachua. She receives, stocks and issues parts in support of the City Utilities. She maintains accurate inventory by forecasting City Utility responsive needs and Capital Improvement Projects.

Public Services Information Technology Project Coordinator

Jason Baker is the Public Services Information Technology Project Coordinator (PSITPC) for the City of Alachua. He is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of technology-based projects for the Public Services Department. He ensures that technology-based projects meet and exceed security and best practice standards.
