Vacancy: The Alachua City Commission is accepting applications for two (2) vacancies on its Charter Review Advisory Board.
Purpose: The Charter Review Advisory Board is a seven-member advisory board to the City Commission, whose purpose is to review the City Charter and offer recommendations regarding revisions and updates to the City Charter. Any citizen who desires to serve on the Charter Review Advisory Board must be a City resident. The Board is considered a standing committee. According to its enabling Ordinances, the Board shall meet at least once every three months and more frequently, if warranted.
