Purpose: The purpose of the Citizen Advisory Task Force shall be to assist the City of Alachua in developing and conducting needed neighborhood revitalization and housing rehabilitation programs, and any other such programs deemed beneficial to the citizens of Alachua, using Community Development Block Grant funds. The Citizen Advisory Task Force operates within the parameters set forth in the CATF Bylaws.
USDA Rural Development - Rural Repair and Rehabilitation Loans & Grants

This Very Low-Income Housing Repair program provides loans and grants to very low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their dwellings or to remove health and safety hazards. This program deals directly with the homeowner. Please note that grants are only available to homeowners who are 62 years old or older and must meet other requirements as well. - No member shall hold another municipal office
- Must reside in the City of Alachua
- Board requires 51% of members be LMI
